El congresista Mike Lawler (R) conoce a Zorhan Mamdani.

Congressman Mike Lawler represents the Hudson Valley, just north of New York City.  He worked in the NY State Assembly with Zorhan Mamdani — who just received the democratic nomination in NYC’s Mayoral election.  Mamdani may be charismatic and promise the moon, but Lawler tells Michele the socialist democrat would be a disaster for New York.

  1. I'm born and raised in Williamsburg/Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Sadens me that this one conservative, patriotic neighborhood of middle class hard working immigrants who some exscaped communisn and fascism, now taken over by communist hipsters who have ruined Williamsburg/Greenpoint.

  2. Freedom of Palestine is not anti semitism. Two states solution is mandated by the UN and also the US is a signatory. The bogey of antisemitism is raised against anyone who doesn’t pay obeisance to AIPAC. Stay away from paid news that only tells half the truth. As the race tightens, PACs and their mercenaries resort to lies and slander against Mamdani. Listen to Mamdani’s own debates, interviews, and speeches—not to the same insider donors and lobbyists who have been wrecking this city for decades while doing nothing to fix it. Vote for change. Vote for Mamdani.

  3. Lawler is a JOKE talking about a disaster for NY. He voted on a bill that is going to throw 1.5 million New Yorkers off healthcare benefits. He will intentionally hurt his poorest constituents so billionaires receive a tax cut. Mamdani is trying to help the neediest. Lawler is a joke and does not give a damn about HELPING PEOPLE, he's a slave to Trump and the billionaires.

  4. I did not rank Cuomo. The two biggest issues for me are Trump's authoritarian attacks on the democratic institutions of the US Republic and political corruption. Cuomo was the worst of all the candidates on these two subjects. I don't know much about Lawler but he did confidently say Mamdani was against a Jewish state which is factually inaccurate. It's ok to be wrong but when you are wrong and you say it with your chest it's a red flag. He's also a Republican so I'm assuming he supports Trump. I hope my brothers and sisters in Yonkers Cold Springs and Beacon vote this clown out when they get the chance.

  5. He will follow his brothers on 9/11. Its not about groceries, lower rent and more crap. Its about seeding more hate and brutal violence to destabilize NYC.
An Islamic terrorist in a suit? He should be punished accordingly.

  6. Mike Lawler wore blackface, questioned a Latino legislator’s citizenship, and told a colleague to “f— off” on the House floor. Michele Tafoya poured beer on fans, downplayed racism, and left sports to push anti-vax and anti-CRT takes on Fox News. And they want to lecture Zohran Mamdani for supporting free transit, rent relief, and Palestinian rights? Give me a break. These two have zero moral high ground—just right-wing outrage and culture war politics. NYC sees through it.
