New York, NY – Communicator and broadcaster Germán Batista was re-elected as president of the Dominican Broadcasters Circle in New York, in a process that reaffirms the organization’s commitment to unity, professional development, and active representation of communicators before society and public authorities.

Upon assuming the presidency once again, Batista stated that this new term represents a major challenge for him, focused on doing things better every day and strengthening unity within the broadcasting guild, emphasizing that only by working in an organized manner can broadcasters achieve meaningful gains.

“When broadcasters are united, they have a voice and a vote. United, politicians have to take us into account, and the community knows it can count on us,” Batista stated.

The re-elected president expressed special thanks to those who trusted his leadership, highlighting the value of the vote of confidence he received to continue guiding the Dominican Broadcasters Circle in New York City.

Plans and vision for the future

Among the plans announced for this new stage, Germán Batista highlighted the ongoing education of microphone professionals, covering areas such as:

• Sports
• Television and digital media

He also announced the holding of regular meetings, approximately every 15 days, with the aim of establishing concrete plans that benefit not only the guild, but society as a whole.

In that context, Batista acknowledged the participation of communicator Omar Cabrera, who will be part of the team as an advisor to the Circle, contributing his experience in radio, production, and professional training.
