no. too pro israel which has committed the act of genozide. hes fine for texas, let him stay in texas
"moderate" "centrist" "liberal" politicians have led us to where we are. stop picking these neoliberal warmongering shills who only worship wall street and israel
In Texas, we don’t care what Blue Republicans or their mouthpieces think or do anymore.
Talarico is the man, he is going to win the election. Whatever he has said must be taken out of context. I am sure he didn’t mean it like how it’s been circulating.
Crockett needs to drop out. Her ego is putting a potential historic pickup in jeopardy.
I would take your info more seriously if you got the names right about the people you’re talking about.
The answer is yes.
He will be fine. Allred ran a mediocre campaign. FACT!!! Obama had his issue with Jeremiah Wright, his comments on guns… yet, he won. Hillary had his issue with emails…she won. Kerry with his Vietnam protest and medals. He won. Chuck is always WRONG!!!
Andy Beshear
Talarico is our future Prez. you will see
James said and meant "mediocre" candidate!
And I agree!
What a waste of my time. Can we wait with this bs until November 27?
“According to an influencer”. What a world we live in. 🙄
Good to hear your alternative history with Pete winning the nomination – almost certainly we’d be in his second term now and Trump would be an ugly footnote. Talarico is a lot like him, although I’m dubious he could risk the Senate majority by vacating a Texas seat (unless Gina Hinojosa defeats Abbott…).
1000% James For President
andy beshear 2028 May be?
Mark Kelly 2028
you're incorrect….he said that Allred was a mediocre candidate, NOT that he was a mediocre black man. get your facts straight, Chuck.
Ossoff
Chuck, black voters would not vote Pete Buttigieg, that seriously bad political analysis!!! every Democratic nominee has had strong support from the black community. Super Tuesday black voters turnout for the moderate/black candidate..Talarico doesn't even claim that he's Latino!!!
Mark MF Kelly you bastards!
I thought Talarico was the golden boy for Dems. But his comments about fellow dem Allred demonstrated that he's not matured enough to stand on a bigger stage for now. I hope he learns and grows off the lesson to become a better man and a better politician. God bless!
It's Newsom. Relax.
Democrats for 2028
Pete Buttigieg is my guy, but I hate saying this. It leaves an awful taste in my mouth to say it America is not ready for a gay president. Remember that leaves an awful taste in my mouth, but we are a biased nation and I’m a black man I grew up in the black Christian community of America. I know lots of people that the moment Pete Buttigieg would’ve become the nominee for president of the United States. They would’ve not voted for him just because of his sexual orientation. He could’ve had all the right words he could’ve had all the right plans to save the country, but I know people lots of people who would not have voted for him just because of his sexual orientation. That sucks, but we see that all the time now when people vote against their own self interest because of political alignment. I know people who didn’t vote for Hillary Clinton just because she was a woman. They literally argued. How could a woman leave the country only men should lead one of the dumbest things ever when we’ve seen women lead other countries as well, but in America, very few people are ready to see a woman called the shots. Guess what there are some women that will tell you a woman shouldn’t be in charge calling the shots. Just let that sink came for a moment.
The Democratic Party really does need new blood. The reason why new candids are more likely to win is simply because the new candidate has less dirt. Less history. We don’t have as much of a preconceived notion of them so we might be willing to give them more of a chance. Hillary Clinton had a lot of people that already had a preconceived notion about her whether that was right or wrong doesn’t matter. It’s just true. They already had an idea in their head about who she was and how she thought and what she would do.
>>> Roy Cooper for president, Pete Buttigieg for vice president. Old school stable and low drama.
Oh please. He is age 36 and no and no and no. Senator John Kelly served 25 years in the Navy. Astronaut. Mature, serious man. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear. He has won 2 times as a Democrat in Kentucky. Married with children and wears his Jesus on his sleeve. Moderate white male will gain more voters than other can.
You and others keep missing someone…..Gov Wes Moore. He’s the real deal.
What about Gavin Newsom? I never liked him and was all in for both Biden and Kamala. Not sure you know what you are talking about.
I mapped out his age already because I've thought about it. He's 36. He's way too young to run in '28. So, that means at age 42 in '32 and I still think that's too young. If Talarico could keep his Senate seat during a POTUS election in TX, it's almost a guarantee he would be a shoo-in for '34 (depending on who's in office). Age 48 is a good age for POTUS.
Can He win the senate first
I think a Texas Democrat could create a very unique coalition. Especially a deeply religious one. I don't love religion, but I do love his philosophy on religion, his opposition to Christian nationalism, and his belief in the importance of separation of church and state. I think he would make a great president. A president for ALL Americans. I think he could be a fantastic uniting force and reach across and pull in a lot of unexpected voters. I would be tempted to run him with Pennsylvania governor Josh Shapiro. A devout Christian and a Jew. A Texan and a very effective and successful governor in the biggest swing state. I think it makes a lot of sense.
I like Gavin Newsom, and he's the current front runner for good reason, but lots of people dislike (aka envy) California so that's a bit of an albatross for him. I love Pete Butigeg. He's a brilliant and eloquent communicator. But I'm scared people will react the same way to a gay man that they did to a black woman running for president.
So yeah, I didn't see this coming, but my current favorite ticket is Talarico-Shapiro. It has a nice ring to it don't you think?
I guess according to Talarico campaign advisor he can just go to a black fish fry or church and Make us hum and sway. Please…….we aren’t voting for him and we believe he said mediocre black Man.
The progressives and the republicans are exactly the same when it comes to black people
James Talarico is an evangelical republican con man masquerading as a democrat. He's basically the male counterpart to former Arizona senator Kyrsten Sinema. His unlikely election to that senate seat would do nothing more than provide an additional firewall to the unlikely possibility of an actual democrat being elected to that seat. His "self" description as a progressive is virtually identical to the false notion that Kyrsten Sinema professed prior to her election.
If a person shows you who you are the first time believe them! What else does he say? That was not a slip he may feel that way about black people.
Ro Khanna for Prez / James Talarico for VP
I too thought Talarico should had run for Gov and that he will eventually win that position. My bet for President is Mark Kelly
If Talarico wanted the presidency, he would not be running for a six year term position. Can we give him the benefit that he is telling us the truth? Talarico said Allred ran a mediocre campaign (also known as a race) Which he did. He failed to defeat Cruz, the most hated senator. And the influencer doesn’t have recordings (🙄🙄) And she is endorsing Crockett. Give me a break!
Mark Kelly for President, Elissa Slotkin for VP (Leadership, Ethics and Common sense)
Talarico, welcome to the big leagues.
chuck, your talking like we all haven't watched Chuck & Hakeems embarrassing failures over the last year. They've proven feckless & ineffective. Im sorry to say hearing u give all these middle of the road politicians for potus candidates. I think you need to go further. People are tired of do nothing dems too.
crocket & the preacher need to stop attacking each other. they need to talk about trump & the fascist admin
