The iOS app does not share the video at a time stamp. Can you double check that?
I found that sharing YouTube with timestamps on iOS was complicated and difficult, so I created an app to make it easier. Initially, I used it for myself, but I decided to release it to production so that others who need it can use it as well.
I hope this helps others! App name is "YT Time" 😀
They really need to add the timestamp url feature to the app

Tapping share on the video in the youtube iphone app does not share the time, fyi.
No longer works on iOS. Enshittification in full effect.
DOES NOT work if you "start at" your desired time. So frustrating. Put video at beginning, share – at 0:00 does not work. copy link with unchecked share – doesn't work.
