  1. The defeat or retirement of some conservative Democrats explain some of the shift, but not all of it. The report's study of national Democratic Party platforms from 2012 to 2024 found a surge in language about

    -specific racial groups (up 828%)

    -"environmental justice" (up 333%)

    -LGBTQ rights (up 1044%)

-Mentions of "men" fell by 63%

    -"fathers" by 100%

    -"responsibility" by 83%.

  2. Supporting Islam against both Israel and Western civilization is ONE thing (among many) that the Democrats really need to reconsider. Islam– in its current state– is an extremely conservative, fundamentalist, inflexible and apocalyptic ideology. It's an obvious threat to nearly everything that Democratic voters say they care about, and yet… they support it! Why? Is it pure ignorance? The allure of the "exotic"? TDS? Clunky and misapplied "victim/victimizer" narratives? I dunno, but they appear to lack basic reasoning skills with this idiocy, and it's one reason (among many) why I'll never support them.

  3. I was a lifelong Democrat until I spoke out of turn about trans issues. People I thought were my friends literally tried to destroy me for speaking about it. No one spoke up in my defense, I think that happened to a lot of people, maybe not about trans maybe it was defund the police or something else but, a lot of people went thru that. I don't think they can just change their messaging. People saw how they acted. I can't vote dem again until some of their ideas are repudiated, and abandoned. If you don't know what a woman is, I don't trust you with tax rates and social security and war.

  4. I think Bannon has far more influence than you think. He stood nearly alone post J6 @ would not bend on the 2020 election being stolen. I will never be told to unsee what I saw proving the election was stolen. I religiously wrote down the AZ recount #’s daily before I went to bed. One day I woke up saw a change so got my pen out to do the math. TRUMP LOST OVER 1000 votes. I re did the math over and over. YOU DONT LOSE VOTES yet that late AM drop did.

  5. The Dems are in a tough spot. Leadership seems unwilling to give up their far left views, which are generally unpopular. They seem to desire socialism rather than the work-ethic principles that founded the Country. It’s a real problem for them.

  6. “This seems cosmetic…” and “the American people aren’t stupid…” Correct. And we are not blind and deaf either. The Democrats lost me when they insisted that elementary school kids be taught that boys could become girls. Until the Democrats ADMIT THAT THEY WERE WRONG, I’ll vote against them. They are not only disingenuous, they are arrogant liars.

  7. Isn’t what happened to the mainstream media the exact corollary to what’s happening with the Democratic Party. They just increasingly become captured by a minority of loud, aggressive ideological people. This exactly what MSNBC and CNN looked like over the 15 years I stopped watching it.

  8. The Democratic Party took an Oath to Protect and Serve. Not to abuse their position to harm vulnerable Americans!!!! Obama Care is a FAILURE! Healthcare needs to be affordable, it needs to be restructured and renamed. I voted for intelligence reform NOT HARMFUL RHETORIC AND OUT OF TOUCH LEFT WING HOSTAGE LEVERAGE IDEOLOGIES THAT ARE FAILING!!!!’

  9. Steve Bannon has not been “ part of the inner circle “ since the second year of Trumps first administration . Yes he is a large voice with the far far right MAGA wing, but he has no influence in the present administration. What he does, is drive liberals and the mainstream media insane.

  10. 15:30 Sean Spicer is not the radical Bannon, but even her often days on 2Way that Republicans are done being the party that plays fair while (he feels) Democrats break the rules. He's for getting back at them. I think it's an interesting change in a large part of the party.

  11. The Democrat party is slowing being subsumed by the Democratic Socialist (DS) which is a vanguard revolutionary party. The DS cannot win a major election without the cover of claiming to be Democrats. Look for further inroads by the DS into the mainstream of the Democrats to the point where the DS actually controls the party.

  12. News flash: The non-stop MSM communications for the left makes the elections close even with terrible candidates. The Obama coalition requires deference to slivers of demographic categories that has moved the party far away from the mean. Citizens that are minorities clearly have the perception that illegals are more important to the Dems than they are. In the current environment there is no logical reason to vote for Democrats, that is why they are rolling on rage. Carl is delusional, Gavin can't shift shape into a real human being.

  13. As a swing voter I have a thought or two. One, the reason some, if not most of us became swing voters is we had, or have a family history of "party label" voting biting them in the rearend, Mt own great grandfather is the example i learned from. Most swing voters do their research and vote for the person not the party. The first time I voted was in the spring of 1978 in a referendum on amendments to the Tennessee constitution, I have voted in every referendum/election since then. I consider voting, thanks to my parents, nor just a "right" but my DUTY as a responsible citizen. Have never voted a straight party ticket and doubt I ever will. For all the "pro party" people out there, to borrow a line from Sean Connery's character in "THE UNTOUCHABLES", "Here ENDETH the LESSON!"

  14. What happens in the '28 election if Fetterman goes Republican, or the Democrats wake up and draft him, regardless of primary results, as they did a sitting President of their own party? "DEMOCRATS ONLY DEFENDRS OF DEMOCRACY!" DISCUSS
